What does “LIMITED EDITION” mean?

Limited Edition prints are the premium artwork created in strictly agreed and limited quantities. Limited Editions are printed by the Artist himself or under his control, so all instances of Limited Edition are identical to each other in terms of artistic value. In addition, every instance (Print) is an original.

Every instance is signed and numbered by the Artist. Furthermore, every instance is offered with a certificate of authenticity.

Because of the limited quantity, every instance constitutes a collectible value. The more limited is the edition, the more expensive is every instance. After selling out all instances of an edition, this artwork is no longer available.

Many prominent artists have used Limited Edition prints for releases of their works: Eugène Delacroix, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Valentin Serov, John Dwyer McLaughlin, Salvador Dalí, M. C. Escher, Alexey Venetsianov, Orest Kiprensky, Alexander Brullov and many others.
